Hilda Suarez is the daughter of Ignacio Suarez and Rosa Suarez and sister of Betty Suarez. She has a son called Justin and his father was he fiance called Santos.

Hilda dream in life is to become a hairdresser for celebrities and in Season 2 she sets up her own little hairdresser's bar in the family house in Queens.

Hilda is very upset when Santos is shot at the end of Season 1 and he ends up O.K but in Season 2 he dies and Hilda is left devasted.

After greving over Santos she starts to date Tony Diaz (Justin's gym teacher) but then he tells her he is married and he might be falling for her, she tells him to go and she moves on.
