He graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a degree in Performing Arts (Acting) in 1991.
Born in Auckland, New Zealand before moving to Perth, Australia at a very young age. He and his family eventually settled in Brisbane.
When Grant is in Australia, he teaches drama at Screenwise Film & TV School for Actors in Sydney.
