Carlo Medina is the assistant of the Editor-in-Chief of Isabella magazine, one of Mode's chief rival publications. That makes him Betty's counterpart at the other fashion magazine. He is not above using shady tactics to get secrets out of Mode employees, including flirting (with Marc), plying them with liquor (Amanda), flattering them (Betty), and taking them to bed (Fat Carol). Carlo was approached by Wilhelmina and she tried to entice him to become her spy at Isabella, but it is not known whether he accepted her offer or not. He may be a double agent at this very moment.
